I've seen so many political submissions here and most of them are crap... The left is constantly submitting "Bush sucks" "No war" crap and usually they have no real skill...
And now you've done the same thing... The message behind it is fine - I know - I was an active duty Marine from 90 - 96 so don't think for a minute that I'm bashing the country or the message - what I AM bashing is the lack of effort put into this...
Sorry to say it but the submission sucks... Fading a few pictures in and out along with a 100MB sound file is always going to suck regardless of the subject matter.
If you want to improve this, work on your transistions - do something a little more than tweening the alpha - experiment a little with masking - you can get really nice effects by using a picture that's larger than the mask and using a motion tween on the pic - you can also tween the mask as well - by stacking layers up like that, you can get a very animated or even cinematic feel from still photos. Keep trying.

The editing wasn't great - the quality was lousy - yes, yes I know - you have an excuse beause of file size imits ... which is no excuse really - I know enough about FLV compression - believe me you could have done much better - you might want to look into the free riva encoder - you might get better results -
Next time you decide to create a submission for NG, go play HALO instead...

Damn near anyone can record a video if themselves playing a game, encode it as an flv and/or dump out an swf with a soundtrack...
Looked fine but you put no actual effort into this...

I don't know if you've seen that series but it's been around for ages and someone may think you stole the idea...

Your choice of music could have been much better - in fact the music was so annoying that it I felt it really took away from your submission. The graphics were very well done - nicely animated - everything was really good - everything except the music...

Yeah - I know that this will get through the portal... I just don't know why...
These crappy sprite movies suck more than your sister at a "Winger" concert (don't feel bad man - my sister was probably there as well)
but STILL! - you can use Flash - that much you've shown us - now make something original - stop relying on sprite fans and parody legacy points to get your submissions through!

wow thanks man this is some of the best advice i have ever gotton, and i know u liked the movie a little ;) but truth is i can animate in flash but i usally do sprites at home and cartoons at school, and i cant submit anything at school cause ng is blocked but thanks man
