Sorry, nothing there...

OK, apologies in advance in case I get all rabid here...
I don't know what anyone was talking about with the whole 'a movie with a moral' crap - there wasn't anything there - this was psuedo-political fluff - there really wasn't any clear message there - hold on - let me check one more time..... Nope! ... the "message" was way too soft to be felt in any real way - the pictures weren't great and if you're trying to 'reach people' with a 'message' then at least check your spelling - SPEECH is not spelled with an "A" and BEFORE has an "E" at the end of it... But I guess it's not really your fault - I mean the education system sucks - really bad - because your parents' generation really let you down... Even sadder is that this feedback has more of a statement in it than your animation did...

(first of all yea i have bad spelling i'm aware of that but this mivie had a dead line since it was a school project and i didn't have time to spell check it, as for this review i just don't think enough of what u have to say to bother)

you were doing good until u made an ass of your self. lets see u started off politely debatign the validity of the message, then instead of continueing with that u started attacking my intelligence. then u just our right insulted my work. well let's make this simple io chose to read your other reviews and check your profile before i continued this response, in each of your reviews you are condesending and yet u still have no flash work to be seen. if you are so much better prove it, i'm not saying for you to be a member here you should need to make flash but i think you should try and show some respect.

Great animation

animation is really good - very stylish - sound could use a little improvement - just some normalization or something as it does get a little distorted in places but it was clear enough to understand. Really nice work. Keep it up.

I see where you were going...

OK - matrix with the food biz spokesperson/character twist... McDonalds vs. Kentucky Fried Chicken - not too bad - the animation was really good in most parts although there seemed to be a few gratuitous bits thrown in that took away from it a little... Overall - it's obvious that you worked for quite some time on this - you did a really good job. I'm sure that plenty of people will like it.

Not bad... not GREAT but not bad...

I'm torn on this... this is vaguely reminiscient of those (usually) crappy avant garde student films that people try to pass off as art but usually suck... Not that this entry sucks - actually it wasn't bad at all - quite interesting - bizarre imagery - the sound was very fitting. I wouldn't say that it's a great entry but it's definitely worth keeping around and the series could very well pan out into a really awesome set of swf's - great late night viewing...

With a little more work, this could be great - the juxtaposition of the music and the vignettes was good - if you had more scenes of violence and less black and with either slightly more or slightly less of a story this could be really good. to go with more of a story this should be like a worst day in some guys life - show from the perspective of the victim. - to go with less of a story - consider scenese from the worst section of town during the worst riot of our times kind of thing - might be a good starting point. Either way - I'm only giving advice - not trying to direct your creation - keep it up - your doing fine.

I agree with Dongstyle_ltd - this was a little like "Dad's home" - or rather the character seemed inspired by it - This wasn't bad - I'm not sure how you could improve the reactions to the various scenarios. Perhaps instead of camera cuts from scene to scene you might consider something like a side scroller where your main character stays basically centered in the frame and the action takes place around him - getting up going to work having lunch etc. etc. while an entire series of messed up events take place around his blissfully unaware self. Also - I saw what might have been the beginning of a potentially funny callback with the wife...
Anyway - A good concept - keep it up, I look forward to your next submission.

You said it was just a little joke but I must have blinked and missed the punch line... Let me put your flash to words and you be the judge...

So one day this guy is walking down a road - and then he trips and was like damnnit im pissed and then he looks across the street and he sees this wierd guy like maybe he was retarded or something and he like has one eye that's bigger and so this retarded guy just stares and stares and the other guy is like WTF? this is wierd man!

So, do you see what I mean - there's nothing funny about a set up that isn't properly followed up with some sort of punch line.

Try a little bit harder and I'm sure you can put a great piece together.

Normally this isn't my thing - but this was really good! Anyone who is into echo-pop culture like dbz or gaming would probably like this. B&W was awesome for this movie - scritzy hand drawn and stylized characters with an anime feel to the action sequences worked really well. This could easily make the front page ... Keep it up!

OK - first of all, try to be original once and a while - it's nice.
This wasn't the WORST animation I've seen but it didn't look like you really tried all that hard... and the scariest is that you were talking like this was going to be the first of some new hit up and coming series??? At the VERY least get a decent mic and try not to blow your little ritalin laced cheeto breath directly into it while you're screaming your lines - it tends to cause a little distortion - but you knew that...

Awesome job on the animation --- style was really good as well --- BGM&E were decent - at least they were appropriate --- The comedic timing wasn't bad either --- This was, all in all, an excellent submission. Keep it up and I think that you may be well on your way to a career in animation.
