[Ugly Side of Me]

Not great...

Hey, it's nice to see that your trying something new and your showing an interest in music creation. To be fair, this track is what it is... it SOUNDS like something you just sort of threw together - don't expect high marks or praise on this one...

Keep it up though - experiment - play - find your own personal sweet spot (no sicko not THAT spot!) and go with it - with more practice you'll do fine.

If you havent already done it - I would suggest reading up a little on basic music theory, the mathematic elements and basically what people before you have already done.

Don't get discouraged - never stop creating.

Thanx this really made me want to try harder. Yes and you are right about the bad effort I put in it with putting things together real fast. I just got a program to make music and I tryed it out. At the end I listened to my song and I thought it sounded real good.

Not bad! - alot going on in this piece - feels very unstructured - Obviously, our exact interests diverge a bit so it's tough to review - Like I mentioned in a different review of your work - this really isn't what I'm into so I can't really say much about it... Good stuff though - keep it up - any music in any style is better than none at all!

Not my thing - but a decent job...

Good job putting it together but it's not really my cup o' tea... Only suggestion I would make would be to consider cutting the intro a bit shorter so as not to scare too many people off before you bring the beats in... Other than that this is so far outside of my little sphere of preference that I couldn't say much more about it...

Found any good clubs over there in Orlando yet? didja ever get by Back Booth?

Sorry I don't make your kind of music. Ive got a very strange taste in music I guess. I always wanna do something more to the norm, but i never end up liking it. Then end up turning it crazy. But, O well, I'd rather get less downloads and be doing what I like.

Ive been really busy with study ing and finals and havent found much time to go clubing. Just been going to local pub. But when I come up next year im really gonna get into it. Ill check out Black Booth then. I also declared my major to digital music, so my work will only be getting better Ü

[Trans Fusion Express -demo]

Very odd

Very odd mix - I liked it overall but not one of my favorites so far...

The drums are great - you do super work as far as your rythms go - the fusion was just this side of clashing -= NOT a bad thing =-

Yes it was very original, it was most definitely diverse - Clear enough and you obviously put a great deal of effort into it but there was something about it that didn;t sound quite right - if I may make a suggestion - Keep the drums and the bass but consider replacing or removing the synth strings - I think they took away a little (that's why 8 overall)

I noticed that this as well as "Wild Space Dub" just sort of END!

I'm assuming these are just small tests to get a little feedback before putting alot of time into a piece (that's pretty much what I do)

You're one of the better artists here -

Great job as usual - looking forward to your next batch - maybe we could collaborate on something some time...

i know the fusion doesn't work too well, but i just wanted to fool around with the melody from trans europe express a bit, just as something to put over the beat. they do sort of just end, because i just put them up as little tests for feedback, as i haven't really had the time or inspiration to create complete songs in a while (damn university)...a collab would be really cool:)

I really like to glitchy rolls and sound treatments. - Awesome stuff - Where are you located? - I know a few guys in Orlando Fl. that would definitely let you play a set or two in the clubs over there - Anyway...

thz for the support! i really appreciate, i will surely develop this one and try working on some more glitchy trip hop type stuff. i'm located in Montréal, Québec, Canada, but if i ever get a chance to book some shows and find transportation i would to play some sets...i only need to refine my live show as i've only done one as part of a school project in cégep (pre-universitary progam)

Happy major progressions really aren't my cup of tea - and if I used this in my tea then I'd go into a sugar coma!

Really well composed - overall great job -

The little electronic tweeter-birdies added a really sickenengly happy element - nice timbres on all of the instruments. Smooth pads - upbeat bassline.

Kind of a rugrats in snow-whites enchanted forest thing happening there.

Would have made me smile if I weren't such a dark and brooding bastard!

I completely understand this is not your style. It's not even really my style, I prefer the darker stuff too, have you listened to my other songs? Nothing like this at all! I just said "eh fuck it let me make a happy song for cryin' out loud" so this is how it came out. It came out much better than I expected and people kind of hate/love it, I'm pretty happy with the response I've been getting. Thanks for your review man, appreciate it!
