[Dark Realm Trailer +1?]

Really nice!

As much as i bitch about stickfight movies (all the time) this was really really good!

Your movements were very realistic - looked like you rotoscoped live action to get some of the movements correct. You also used a few really nice effects - the "invisibility" shield I guess? on a few of the sticks was done very nicely as well.

Nice integration with 3d - was that swift that you used?

Overall, this is a great submission. You obviously worked quite hard on it - it really shows.

Hard to believe (even harder to say) but I'm actually looking forward to seeing a stick movie!

There was some rotoscoping, a group of Taekwon-Do Black Belts preformed a few scenes for us. Yes Swift 3D, the project was started in January so we have been carefully working the MASSIVE plot to the lil white stage of flash! oh and yes the effect was an invisible cloak!

Sorry but the sound quality was really low and that really made me not want to watch the whole thing...

Your work isn't bad - just increase the sound quality a bit and it would be much easier to watch..

Man I've seen some pointless, crappy, non-substantial wastes of bandwidth in my time ... and this was one of them...

I agree with the bit about the submissions lately

I very much agree - I've seen alot of really CRAPPY submissions get high marks just because they have stick fighters, clocks, fruit or whatever else the flavor of the week is...

Overall I think you did a decent job, the animation of the mouth started getting a little annoying after a bit - too fast - but either way - I hope you continue to submit!

First movie... really?

If it actually is (one of) your first movies then you have amazing potential - try cleaning up your drawings a bit - they were a little too rough around the edges - if you clean them up you can decrease your file sizes quite a bit... maybe try optimizing the vectors - this can sometimes help alot and may even suit your style at higher settings with multiple passes... All around halfway decent submission though - keep it up!

Not terrible - not fantastic ...

I think that if you developed the idea a bit more and made this animation a bit longer it would be alot better... The last reviewer said something like - "not?bad?game?" - game?? did I completely miss something here? - I looked (and once more as well) but I saw only a short animation... Oh well - like I said - nothing awesome about this but I've seen much worse...

Great submission - cool style

The rasterized bitmaps worked well for this piece. Very different from the usual stick fight, 1,000 ways for a stick to die, pull my sticks finger and the new adventures of Mr. Stick pt. 1 movies that I keep seeing here...
Great style, go with it - a little punky - a little urbanesque - and a little Aeon Fluxish...

OK, apologies in advance in case I get all rabid here...
I don't know what anyone was talking about with the whole 'a movie with a moral' crap - there wasn't anything there - this was psuedo-political fluff - there really wasn't any clear message there - hold on - let me check one more time..... Nope! ... the "message" was way too soft to be felt in any real way - the pictures weren't great and if you're trying to 'reach people' with a 'message' then at least check your spelling - SPEECH is not spelled with an "A" and BEFORE has an "E" at the end of it... But I guess it's not really your fault - I mean the education system sucks - really bad - because your parents' generation really let you down... Even sadder is that this feedback has more of a statement in it than your animation did...

(first of all yea i have bad spelling i'm aware of that but this mivie had a dead line since it was a school project and i didn't have time to spell check it, as for this review i just don't think enough of what u have to say to bother)

you were doing good until u made an ass of your self. lets see u started off politely debatign the validity of the message, then instead of continueing with that u started attacking my intelligence. then u just our right insulted my work. well let's make this simple io chose to read your other reviews and check your profile before i continued this response, in each of your reviews you are condesending and yet u still have no flash work to be seen. if you are so much better prove it, i'm not saying for you to be a member here you should need to make flash but i think you should try and show some respect.
