[short d&b loop]

Very short

I think it's a decent loop but it's a bit short - maybe a few more bars and it would earn another point or two here and there.

Overall though really good job.

Good job on this.

The intro sounds a little BECKish - not bad at all - nice drums - if this were a little more choppy, a bit harsher and 8-bit sounding I'd give it 10 straight across.

Nice riff

Very smooth - I really liked the detuned vocals and dissonance in the high pitched ?pads? - bassline is great.

the detuned vocals are actually a guitar going through a 'quadfrohmage' filter, the bass is my old 5 string with it's fretts hammered out. Intend to record with it some more using it's liquid slideyness to better effect!

A little darker than "My Dream"

I really like the "Dark Heart" feel in places - although it's used alot I really liked the didgeridoo-ish samples. It feels a little loose in spots - almost like the synths are getting away from you a bit. Again on this I'm voting 4 - this is good D&B but aome of the instruments sound a little.... odd for D&B maybe?? Not that it's bad - it's just that they sound a little better suited to trance than D&B.

Add some more low end stuff - solid ULF bass and lose the top end - all of those highs - think more bass less treble - this might make your D&B go straight up into the high 4's.
