Very nice work!

T'was awesome... You get a 5 from me!

Feel the hate roll in...

Wow - zero voting hater bitches got you! - when I came in it was a 2.5 - lousy ass-lunch fuck nut sons of whores.

I liked it - I'm voting high to try to help the score a little - and also well, just because you're cool.

Thanks for your vote, ljcoffee! You voted 5 for Obvious Oblivious (Continued), raising its score from 2.50 to 3.33.

Johnny-Beat responds:

thanks LJ, you continue to rock at life. XD

yeah, I cant help but to find it slightly amusing that the preview of this song, which is just a shorter version, has a higher score... zero voters suck horrendously.

sure, what i make in FL is mediocre..but it doesn't SUCK and it isn't worth a ZERO.

you, contrarily, continue to own these asshat's with your music.

thanks for the 5 and the review. :)

Nice work

2.5 was an unfair score so ...

Actually this was quite similar in style to several of my tracks - I liked it and I can't believe that you didn't have any reviews prior to this one.

It deserves a better score. Although it was a minimalist track I thought it was very good.

It was also cool of you to use my experimental - 3/4 HH loop in your recent flash submission - thanks!

You might dig a few of my newer tracks - if you like glitch or idm then come listen to "Blitz" it's one of my recent works which has gotten really good feedback so far.

See you around NG...

XychoJack responds:

Wow thanks dude! ^^

If this is your work...

Then I expect great things from you...

This was a great rendition - what did you use to create it? - And how come you don't have a ton of other submissions?

Anyway - you did a fantastic job on this - I'm really looking forward to hearing more from you - normally I don't really dig on VG stuff all that much but this was great. I'll give it a 5.

Biff responds:

Actually I can't remember what i used lol. It was a long time ago that I made it. I have bought a new computer so I have no clue what it was. I was just exparamenting and i dont know if i will make anymore. I really suck at making songs acually because it took me about 3 months with a few hours a day to make it (over summer break) I will try some day to make another. Thanks for the five ;)

A tale of happy chipmunks

Two happy chipmunks were going to a hamster party to celebrate thier smiles when they saw thier best friend (forever) jolly old mister squirrel. "How are you happy little furries today?" said Squirrel. "We love everything because we're on a triple dose of double-stacked X!" said the iddy-widdy-widdle chipmunks (in that sickenly sweet widdle furry voice that they use when they go rolling.

-Oh - and they were playing this song the entire time! :D

You get a 5 - because.. well because it's you!

PERVOK responds:

you make me happy and fuzzy inside..but almost worried for you.

stop the drugs, LJ :P

thanks for the review!

Hmmmm...

I don't know if Drum&Bass was quite the right category but it doesn't really matter...

This showed some potential - to be honest, I didn't care for much other than the percussion - the synths used sounded a little generic and I'm really not liking the melody - it sounds a little formulaic.

I'm still scoring it pretty well though as the drums weren't bad - it was definitely an orifinal piece so there are no points lost there, lost 1 on diversity for using standard timbres on the synth lines - sounded clear enough on this end - lost 2 on Effort because of the synths again (sorry man I'm not trying to rip it up - I just couldn't dig it)

I'm voting 4 on this - for all the reasons above - if the melody were planned out a little better I would've given it a 5 but this time around I can't do it.

Keep it up though - it's a very odd track and I can apreciate that - see you around!

Some Love

I noticed that you need some love. Mostly becuase you pointed it out in a post that said "PLEASE I NEED ATTENTION!!!
love me love me" so, being the really nice guy that I am, I decided to drop by and toss off..., er.. umm.. I mean toss a little in your direction.

The track needs something... It feels a little light - empty - unfinished. It's a pretty decent start though - I'm not sure what to do with it so I'm giving you 8's.

I'm voting 4 on this - mostly because I think that if it were a bit more filled out it could get the 5 - and... If I vote 5 right now, it'll sail straight away towards the top and some asshole will most likely immediately vote 0 bringing it down to a 2.5 - I'll vote 4 so that it'll slide under the zero-voter radar.

Oh - and welcome to NG! most of the regulars here are really decent unless you're a total jackass, but I'm sure that you already know that.

more love in the form of one of the longest audio reviews I've ever written - but only because you really seemed to want the attention!

See you around the bbs, and like I usually tell others - if you ever need any help or have a question that you don't want to ask openly on the bbs you can email me and I'll almost always do what I can to help out.

Later...

TheWizardOfFozz responds:

hey thanks.

What software are you using?

I would suggest going down to your local Borders and looking for a copy of "Computer Music" - it may take a month or two to find a copy but it usually comes packaged with a DVD - It also USUALLY (not always) comes with a copy of CM-Studio (Computer Muzy's) - it has a bit of a learning curve but it's free and you can actually do some really cool stuff with it - then go out and snag every freeware VST you can find and start experimenting to find a few that you like.

All you need are some better sounds and you're going to be in good shape. This was a very well put together track - You get a 5!

Kirizzle responds:

I'm using Fl Studio 5 though I have limited knowledge of it's capabilities and I should get Reason 3.0 (most likely) soon.

"Computer Music" at Borders... *takes mental note down* Thanks I'll look into it. I've also been looking around for any good sites that can teach me some music/composition/note theory because I wanna make more complex melodies, since like all of my stuff so far as been pretty basic, in A minor and white keys only (with the exception of a couple notes in Synth High). So if you know any feel free to e-mail (in my profile) me.

I saw a thread in the Audio forum with a bunch of links to websites free VSTs, I've been meaning to check those out but I was being kinda... lazy. But I'll make sure to go to all of those and download all the freeware I can get my hands on, but not today, probably tomorrow.

Thanks for reviewing all my songs and all the generous 5's you gave me! You are truly awesome!

(And SolusLunes if you are reading this then thanks for reviewing all my work also, I failed to mention that previously.)

I do all of the above. I mean it. I can back it up too.
