Really nice work

Sounds like a heavily MHIAB influenced track

Either that or your style is so similar to KB's that it just sounds that way.

The instruments are nice and laid back and the percussion adds just enough energy to make this a damn nice chunk of ear-candy.

The breaks are great - nice job applying eq to the drums as well.

Very good work on this - 5/5!

SineRider responds:

A bit inspired by KB and others.

Thanks for the review

Nice track

Really had that "don't shake the baby too hard, I'm trying to get the little bastard to shut the hell up" feel to it. :D

Not extremely diverse but it didn't really need to be - in fact, I think that it would have lost something if you had added more to it.

Nice job on it - keep it up.

itsameyayo responds:

Oh my gosh, "don't shake the baby too hard, I'm trying to get the little #$*& to shut the hell up," fell, the second best description I've had for a song here, thanks man! I'm ready for today now ; D

Very nice track

Mimimalist and chilled way the hell out. A very versatile sounding track - this could be used to reinforce any number of moods if used as a score. Very cinematic. It's simplicity really shines.

You get a big fat 5 from me for this track.

pitbulljones responds:

Hey thanks LJC. I do kinda tend to restrain myself with regards to tracks, sometimes not tho, but this track as you know is about atmosphere there's very little need to embelish a track like this. i have to agree with about it's versatility too, it does have this ambiguous nature regarding scoring a film, it won't happen tho. Thanks for your review mate. and the five.

Not bad work on this

polyrythms like crazy. The percussion definitely needs to be tied together with somethig doesn't it. The melody did a decent job of smoothing things out a bit. I'm very glad that you participated in this little exercise - I hope it did what it was supposed to do! As a normal submission I would be a bit more harsh with the scoring but I understand that it's very difficult to get the numbers to do what you want them to without changing them. For your participation, you get teh 5!

:D

attemptedperfection responds:

I could've sworn I'd responded to this review three times already... I'm very glad I participated in this little exercise too; this one is actually one of my favorites... I don't even know why, something about it just makes me want to keep listening... at any rate, thanks for the review!

Really nice job!

Very nice work considering the constraints put on you by the numbers.

This was quite a sad little track - I would have never guessed that a formula would have resulted in such an emotional piece.

This gets a 5 - very very nice job!

WinTang responds:

Thanks LJ, funnily enough the constraints spurred me along when I was making this.
The adjective "emotional" means a lot :)

3.141592653589793238462643.. :D

Nice choice of tibres - the melody would have been difficult to work with using a more traditional instrument. Good stuff as far as the whole math and music thing goes. Great style and a damn nice interpretation.

Woah! - lookathat! anutha 5!

Bizarre :D

Some very jarring chords in there! - overall a good job of getting notes from numbers. The percussion helps smooth things up a bit - without it the music would have been too harsh for most tastes.

I'm glad that you took part in this exercise and I hope that you had a good time with it.

You get a 5 from me for participation!

Damn nice work!

Damn nice job - sounds great - high energy - everything I would want in it.

This is pro work my friend!

Thanks for your vote, LJCoffee! You voted 5 for Why Bank Re-Mastered, raising its score from 0.00 to 5.00.

Quickbeam responds:

Thank You Kind Sir!

Excellent mathematical adaptation!

This is exactly the type of thing that I was hoping to hear. This is an absolutely fantastic track. The only thing that might make it better would be the addition of additional instruments - Strings and brass could add so much.

You sir, are a master.

You get teh 5!

( I really should conspire with a bunch of others to see if we can't get the score to 3.14 - that would be the bomb )

or perhaps a score of

Khuskan responds:

I was going to write it for piano, string quartet and percussion, but I got so into the piano part, I didn't know how I would get other instruments to fit in :O

Loved it!

Nice part 2.

Gotta love the slightly dark stuff - great job on the vox.

excellent work 5/5

snoballandthmonyshot responds:
